Some of them come to you, with no storefront to visit. Common questions

4 questions

What does weekly pool service cost in St. Petersburg?

Most homes in St. Petersburg pay $100 to $220 per month for weekly pool service with chemicals included, and a typical screened pool lands near $150. Open pools under trees, saltwater systems and spas cost more. The weekly pool service cost guide explains what moves the price, and the weekly service cost calculator gives a range for your pool before you call any of the companies above.

Do pool cleaners in St. Petersburg need a license?

Not for weekly cleaning. Florida does not require a contractor license for routine pool cleaning and chemical service. Repairs, equipment replacement and resurfacing do require a Florida pool contractor license. The pool cleaning companies listed for St. Petersburg, FL that hold one show the License verified mark on their card, and the License verified filter narrows the list to them. Choose one of those if you expect repair work later.

Which pool cleaners in St. Petersburg handle saltwater pools?

The companies listed for St. Petersburg, FL that take on saltwater pools show Saltwater pools in their profile, and the Saltwater pools filter narrows the list to them. Saltwater pools need the same weekly brushing and chemistry checks as chlorine pools, plus periodic salt cell cleaning and replacement. Poolseye, Best Rated in St. Petersburg, is one of them.

What does Newly listed mean on MyPoolsGuide?

Newly listed marks a company that does not yet have enough customer reviews for MyPoolsGuide to show a Rating. It says nothing about quality, and every company starts there. On the St. Petersburg list, Newly listed companies sit together at the end under their own heading, so a company without a Rating is never mixed in with the rated ones. You can still call them directly; the phone number is on every card.
