Using MyPoolsGuide means you agree to these terms. They are short because the site is simple.

What MyPoolsGuide is

MyPoolsGuide is a free directory of pool cleaning and pool service companies in Tampa Bay. It shows public business information, a Rating based on customer reviews, and two badges per city. It does not sell, schedule or perform pool service. The contract for any work is between you and the company you call.

For homeowners

Listings are a starting point, not a guarantee. Check the license, ask for insurance, and get a written quote before work starts. Ratings and badges reflect past customer reviews and can change at each monthly refresh. MyPoolsGuide is not responsible for the work a listed company does or fails to do.

For companies

Claiming. You may claim a listing only for a business you own or are authorized to represent. We may ask for proof and may remove a claim that turns out to be false.

What you can edit. Your description, logo, services, service area, hours, phone, website and email. Everything you enter must be true. Do not use another company's name, logo or license number.

What you cannot edit. The Rating, the badges, the license record, review data and the position on any page. They are set by the data and are the same for every company. None of them can be bought.

Your content. You keep ownership of the description and logo you upload. You give MyPoolsGuide permission to show them on the site and in search results for as long as the listing is live.

Removal. You can remove your listing from your account page at any time. We can also remove or hide a listing that breaks these terms, goes out of business, or is duplicated.

Accounts

Sign-in is by a link sent to your email. Keep that inbox secure; anyone who can read it can sign in as you. Tell us at once through the contact page if you think someone else has used your account.

Acceptable use

Do not scrape the site, submit false claims or applications, upload anything unlawful, or try to get around the security checks. We may block accounts and addresses that do.

Our data and our copy

The Rating, badges, page copy and design are MyPoolsGuide's. You may link to any page. You may not copy listings or ratings to build another directory.

No warranty and limited liability

The site is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate, but we cannot promise every detail is current. To the extent the law allows, MyPoolsGuide is not liable for losses that come from using the site or from any company listed on it.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top tells you when. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
